Scheduled Tasks
- Every 5 minutes: scheduled gift card emails that are due.
- Every hour: expiry reminders, removal of temporary checkout discounts, and cleanup of unused photo uploads.
- One-off: each scheduled card also gets its own task at its delivery time.
Where Data Is Stored
- Database tables
{prefix}giftrocketsure_cards,{prefix}giftrocketsure_ledgerand{prefix}giftrocketsure_logs. - Settings in the
giftrocketsure_settingsoption. - Customer photos in
wp-content/uploads/giftrocket-custom/.
How Checkout Works
When a customer applies a gift card, GiftRocket creates a temporary SureCart discount code that matches the card, so checkout can show the reduction. It is deleted automatically once the order is confirmed or the card is removed, so your SureCart Coupons list stays clean.
Note: GiftRocket’s templates can’t be overridden from a theme in this version. Use the settings and filters above to change its output.
